Ph.D of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor.

He received his secondary education at the Poroh high school (1986-1988). In 1988 he entered the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of Ivano-Frankivsk State Pedagogical Institute, graduating with honors in 1993 in the specialty “Teacher of Physics and Mathematics”. Worked as a teacher of physics and mathematics in a secondary school. From 1993 to 1997 he studied at the graduate school of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian University, majoring in solid state physics under the guidance of prof. Dmitry Freik. He defended his PhD thesis “Modification of Properties of Thin Lead Telluride Films in the Process of Steam Growth, Radiation Irradiation and Doping” at the Chernivtsi State University. Y. Fedkovich (1997 p.).

Since 1998 – Lecturer at the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics of the Carpathian University. In 2002 he received an associate’s certificate.

From 2003 to 2005 – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physics.

From 2005 to 2006 – Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences.

From 2006 to 2014 – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Technology.

From 2014 to 2018 – Head of the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics.

From 2018 to present time – Head of the Department of Physics and Teaching Methods

Scientific interests: thin-film semiconductor material science, chalcogenide glassy semiconductors, modern technologies of teaching physics.

He has published about 80 scientific, educational and methodical works.

Scientific traineeships:

Studied the organization of educational process and research in European educational institutions: TU Chemnitz (2006, 2009), Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW Dresden) Institute for Complex Materials (2013, 2016, 2018), and Rzeszowski University (Poland) during the implementation of joint master’s programs during 2014-2019.

According to the results of scientific work, more than 50 scientific works have been published. Also, research materials have been discussed at several national and international scientific conferences.
